Anything Is Possible
Believe in Me
Believe in you
There is nothing we can’t do.
This is the heart message that came through this week. The ‘Me’ in the poem is the heart. It wants you to know that anything is possible!
This isn’t too good to be true. It’s real! I discovered this more that 40 years ago…
I was a healthy, sporty kid. Then at nineteen, as a vibrant sophomore in college, everything changed. I was diagnosed with severe systemic lupus. Sitting in the doctor’s office, I anxiously asked,”Am I going to die?” The doctor quietly replied, “I don’t know.”
I inhaled sharply, then paused as a soft voice from deep inside me whispered, “You’re going to be okay.” I don’t know why, but I believed that voice with every fiber of my being.
That voice was my heart. It changed the course of my life. My doctors told me that I might make it to forty if I stayed on steroids and immune suppressants, didn’t have kids and avoided the sun. I followed the doctors’ orders for over a decade. It kept me out of the hospital but didn’t heal me.
Out of desperation, I turned inward to my heart. It guided me to explore many things. But the real healing came through this opening of my heart. Feeling, listening and allowing belief, trust and love – selflove. It gave me the courage, faith and support to keep going.
Today, I’m a healthy, tan, medication free, 60-year-old!
Anything truly is possible with love. Your heart is waiting... Open your heart and change your life!
PS. It is intentional that selflove is not hyphenated. Love is not separate from you!
